Congratulations to Emily Braham, a senior majoring in Psychology, who has been recognized with the College Honors Program’s Outstanding Scholar Award. The award is given annually to a student in the Honors Program who has “exhibited a high level of scholarly achievement beyond the boundaries of the college community.”
In Emily’s case, her most impressive achievement was the research study and paper co-authored with Dr. Lisa Grimm (Psychology), “The Draw-a-Scientist Test: An Examination of the Absence of Female Scientists.” Emily and Dr. Grimm are presenting that research this weekend at the annual conference of the Psychonomic Society this weekend with 2011 Psychology graduate Lynda Pagan.
