A program from NYU at Abu Dhabi is accepting applications for writing fellow positions for the 2013-2014 academic year:
Global Academic Fellows for Writing are recent graduates who have achieved high distinction during their university and early professional careers, and have demonstrated leadership in areas relevant to NYUAD’s various academic programs and overall institutional mission. Experience tutoring, teaching, or working in college writing centers is a bonus but not required. We are looking for fellows who are excellent writers and dedicated to the development of our students. Fellows play a unique and exciting role within the Global Network and on NYUAD’s campus in that they provide specialized academic support to a truly diverse and engaging student body, while simultaneously modeling and carrying out one of the core institutional goals – interdisciplinary work and collaboration. GAFs are typically appointed for the academic year, inclusive of a training institute prior to the start of classes. See the website for more details.
