Congratulations to Bryan Furman, who has won a Fulbright Research Grant that will take him to Dushanbe, Tajikstan for the 2013-2014 academic year.
While in Dushanbe, he will examine the evolution of Tajik foreign policy since 1991, looking specifically at Tajik-Russian, Tajik-Iranian, and Tajik-Afghan relations. He also plans to conduct social psychological research on intergroup relations and political intolerance similar to a project he conducted in Russia while on a Boren Scholarship in Moscow 2011-2012.
Congratulations also to Bryan’s faculty mentors, especially Dr. Jo-Ann Gross, who helped him achieve this great success.
