Jack Meyers, the new Webmaster for the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, is a junior International Studies major with minors in Journalism and Spanish. Jaryd Frankel is our new HSS photographer and he is a junior studying psychology at the College. Both students are not only motivated within the classroom but are also active in other aspects of campus life as is obvious from a quick glance at their résumés.
Jaryd, a Student Ambassador, is the President of iTunes a Cappella and is in his third semester conducting research with Dr. Leynes on brain waves and memory.
Jack is a News Editor for The Signal and, beyond his two past internships in Congressman Rush Holt’s office and at a local Chamber of Commerce, this past summer he completed a MUSE Research Project on global youth under the tutelage of Professor Shakow. In addition, both Jaryd and Jack are members of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity on campus.
This year, Jack and Jaryd are teaming up to provide a comprehensive look at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. With Jaryd’s insightful photography and Jack’s apt posting, the HSS site will stay up-to-date and permit all viewers an incisive look at the school and its achievements. Site-goers should look forward to consistent updates on the goings-on of the HSS school as well as spotlight pieces on outstanding students and staff members.
These two students also have their own prerogatives for when they aren’t working. Jaryd dreams of traveling to new horizons and photographing each step of his journey along the way. Jack shares Jaryd’s wanderlust and plans to travel through South America during his study abroad trip to Chile in the Spring semester—admittedly, he’s mostly excited for the food.
