DC CAREER DAY OVERVIEW: Wed., March 4 beginning at 5:30 AM (the bus will leave exactly at this time!)

This all day program, to be held in D.C. on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, is an exciting opportunity to gain a flavor of DC! You will network with alumni, Homeland Security, lobbyist, federal agencies, or congressional representatives. Learn about the ins and outs of gaining internships and full time employment. Once registered you will be able to select which representatives you wish to connect. The format involves a morning session with selected reps followed by a lunch with a Keynote and Alumni connection; then afternoon sessions with representatives ending with alumni reception with appetizers.

Beyond being the nation’s capitol it is a place of great opportunity, easy accessibility to travel by train, and many things to do. This program allows you to capture a glimpse into the environment along with potential opportunities.
TRANSPORTATION
A chartered bus will be provided to/from DC. You will be expected to leave TCNJ Campus by bus at 5:30am sharp from TCNJ Campus and be returning by bus late in the evening. In addition you will be traveling in DC through the Metro.COSTS
The costs of the program involve $25.00 registration fee along with the price of the metro card (max price $10). We ask that you provide The Career Center, located in Roscoe West 102, the $25.00 (money or checks made out to The College of New Jersey).You will be purchasing the Metro cards once in DC.
