“What’s your greatest accomplishment?”

“I think probably connecting with people.”

“Do you have one specific moment you remember above others?”

“I think especially being involved on campus you get to know a lot of different kinds of people. And I think being extremely open to different people’s personalities and looking at people for who they instead of what their stereotypes should be.

I think working really hard and constantly being kind to people goes a lot farther than being egotistical or doing something for the wrong reasons.”

“What do you think are the wrong reason to want something?”

“I think money, popularity.”

“Then why do you want things? What do you go for?”

“I think leadership. And I think we all have our own standards of success and so we are constantly pushing ourselves and if we’re not, then we’re not really reaching that point of self-improvement.

For me, my goal’s always been to go to law school. And last semester was really hard for me because a lot of things happened. My grandma passed away, I got diagnosed with Celiac disease—a lot of changes happened at once and it’s really, really hard to cope with them. Okay, you know I didn’t do well on my LSATs, it’s a really tough semester and I ended up with a 3.9 [GPA] and somehow I just found out I got into law school.

So I think if you work hard enough and you do things for the right reasons, karma and positive energy will come back to you and reward you for your successes.”

“How would you describe yourself to someone who has never met you?”

“Bubbly, I don’t care about people’s opinions of me, but I do care enough.

I really want to get to know people on a personal basis and really know what makes them tick. And I guess sometimes people are kind of thrown off by that because they think I’m just the annoying sorority girl or someone who’s really outgoing, but I think everyone has something to offer and I want to find out what it is.”

“What’s beautiful about today?”

“I think my perspective on life because it’s changed a lot since last semester. And I think when you go through a lot of hard things, you appreciate the days a lot more because you don’t know how many you’ll have left.”
