Dr. Holly Didi-Ogren, a professor in the Department of World Languages and Cultures in TCNJ’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences, was awarded a $25,000 grant from the Freeman Foundation ASIANetwork Student-Faculty fellows program. With it, she and four students will travel to Northeastern Japan to conduct research this summer. Her work forwards the goals of ASIANetwork, a consortium of 170 North American colleges with the goal of strengthening Asian Studies to prepare students for a future that Asian societies will help shape. Congratulations to Dr. Didi-Ogren on her achievement from HSS!
