As a double major in History and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Rosie Driscoll has taken advantage of multiple opportunities to dive deeply into subjects she’s passionate about. Rosie recently presented her paper, “Lesbian Inclusion and Involvement in the AIDS Crisis and Movement 1990-1996,” at the Student Research Conference of the Greater Philadelphia Area Women’s Studies Consortium. Under the supervision of Dr. Robert McGreevey of the History department, Rosie worked in the Trentoniana archive at the Trenton Public Library to complete original research about racial discrimination in public and private sector housing in mid-twentieth century Trenton. A champion for social justice and active student leader, Rosie serves as an HSS Senator, a Student Anti-Violence Educator, the WILL Gender Watch Chair, and as a member of both the TCNJ Community Standards Board and All-College Standards Board.
