I am the Secretary for Sigma Tau Delta (the English Honor Society which offers fun events for all fellow literary enthusiasts and word nerds), the Features Editor for The Signal Newspaper, the Points Chair for the Student New Jersey Education Association (SNJEA), a Peer Tutor in training, and an HSS Peer Mentor!
Honestly, pretty much everything! My classes have all been thought-provoking and engaging, my professors and fellow students have been very kind and fun to become acquainted with, there have been tons of opportunities for me to explore my interests and make epic memories, and the campus itself is just so beautiful and cozy!
I love the library and pretty much anywhere outdoors (especially the picnic tables between Norsworthy and ABE in view of Lake Sylva)!
There’s no such thing as "the" college experience; "your" college experience should entail what feels most fulfilling for you, even if it’s different from what other people want to do! I would definitely suggest jumping on chances that sound interesting to you because the more opportunities you take, the more likely you are to find out what makes you happy and what doesn’t.
