The Departments of History and African American Studies are co-sponsoring a lecture next week with the support of the Dean’s Office of Humanities and Social Sciences.  The presentation will be given by Professor Yesenia Barragan of Rutgers University and is called “Slavery and Gradual Emancipation Rule in Colombia and the Atlantic World.”
