TCNJ will host the 46th annual TCF (aka Trenton Computer Festival), which makes it the longest running computer festival in the world! Over the years TCF has brought in leaders in science and technology, including Richard Stallman, originator of GNU and the free-software movement, Astronaut Dr. Gregory Olsen and Microsoft founder Bill Gates.
TCF 2022 will take place on Saturday, March 19, from 10 am to 5 pm. Although prior TCFs have been in-person, this year’s event will be fully virtual, and FREE!
This year’s theme is Using Technology to Disrupt Environmental Change, with keynote speaker Dr. Bob Kopp. Dr. Kopp is a co-author of the recent UN Climate Report and a Professor of Earth & Planetary Sciences at Rutgers University.
A variety of talks covering a large range of interesting topics, including Dr. Barry Burd, who will be presenting his talk on Secure Communications with Quantum Computing., and Dr. Donn Fishbein, who will speak about Bitcoin Trading Using Neural Networks.
There are events involving computers, communication technology, home/environmental control, digital home entertainment, amateur radio, artificial intelligence, and other interesting technologies.
