My favorite thing is the flexibility that the school allows. During my time at TCNJ I was able to spend one semester in Italy and one semester interning in DC and I will still be graduating on time without taking any extra classes. This is only possible because of my amazing advisors and the leniency that the school allows.
Alumni grove. I love sitting at the tables on a nice day with my friends, doing homework and chatting. Since that area is a frequently visited pathway you also get to run into all your friends and catch up with the ones you haven't seen in a while.
Your first semester, even your first year, can be so difficult. You might feel like you don't belong and you're not sure if college is the right fit for you, but I think it's what you make of it. I didn't meet my closest friends until sophomore year and that year I was also able to study abroad and do things I dreamt of. Grab all the chances you see and don't be scared.
