How many clubs and organizations there are. It makes it easy to find a space where you feel like you belong that best fits your interests and identity.

Favorite spot on campus

The third floor of the library. It’s a very quiet space with a huge window that lets in tons of natural light, making it the perfect place to focus and get work done.

Advice to new students

You’ll likely write a lot of papers as an HSS student, so it will be helpful to be familiar the Tutoring Center early on. Scheduling writing consultations can really help you strengthen your papers and build confidence in your writing over time.
