Favorite thing about TCNJ and HSS

I truly enjoy being part of the HSS program community. Everyone here is so warm, loving, and supportive, and it has made my time in the program so special. I’ve had the opportunity to build many meaningful friendships, and I’m grateful for all the kindness and encouragement I’ve received. I’m excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to meet even more amazing people and create new memories together.

Favorite spot on campus

I really love the library because of its many uses. It’s the perfect quiet spot to focus and get my work done, but it’s also a place where I can grab a drink with friends at the café and catch up. I’ve spent countless evenings here in late-night study groups, and it’s always felt like such a welcoming and productive space. Whether I’m working alone or with others, the library has become one of my favorite places on campus.

Advice to new students

Find a good place to get your work done early in the year so you don’t fall behind on assignments. Most of the time, your dorm room isn’t the best place to study because of all the distractions. Figure out whether you focus better with a bit of background noise or in complete silence, and choose a spot that helps you stay productive.
