I love how TCNJ combines the sense of a small, close-knit community with the range of opportunities that some may expect from larger institutions. Whether its research opportunities, internships or clubs; students are always supported and in fact, encouraged to explore their interests. Now, within the School of HSS, the connection students have with professors is unique. I have not met a single professor in this department who was unwilling to mentor. They are all professionals who are always willing to lend a helping hand, genuinely interested in ensuring every student's academic success and growth.
The Student Center. I am not just saying this because I work there but it is quite literally the heart of campus. I have always viewed it as the building that captures TCNJ's essence. Inside you'll find community, energy, productivity and connection. It is where everyone gets together whether its grabbing food with friends, attending a meeting, studying, etc. It is for sure one of the best places to feel the spirit of our beautiful campus.
Get involved, make connections and don't be afraid to ask questions!
