The transition into college is challenging but keep an open mind to new experiences and meeting new people. It makes it a lot easier to adjust to the college setting and you might end up meeting your closest friends or joining a club that changes your life. You do not have to change who you are to meet people, you will find people that make you the best version of yourself. The HSS department is here to support you, don't be afraid to stop by office hours or ask a question, that can make you a connection that will help you in the future.
