La Boheme Opera presents “Faust” on Sunday, April 21 at 4 pm in Kendall Auditorium (this is a ticketed event).
The Boheme Opera NJ website states:

“Boheme Opera NJ conjures up a new, modern production of Charles Gounod’s melodiously sumptuous Faust. Based loosely on the three-part Goethe tragedy of the same name, an aging old scholar makes a desperate pact with the devil to pursue never-experienced youthful love. As the devil Mephistopheles manipulates the ensuing events, love turns to tragic sadness for Faust and the beautiful Marguerite in the midst of Gounod’s spectacular musical score. Starring international tenor Daniel Snyder in the title role, soprano Kristin K. Vogel as Marguerite, Baritone Daniel Sutin as Valentin and bass-baritone Frank Basile as Mephistopheles, this production will feature HD technology with stunning new virtual sets by J. Matthew Root. Artistic Director Joseph Pucciatti directs and conducts the Boheme Opera Orchestra and Chorus in an imaginative staging of one of opera’s greatest French works, sung in French with English supertitles.
The opera is in three acts, running time at approximately 2 hours 30 minutes with two intermissions.”
