Dean’s Letter: March 29, 2015

March 29, 2015

Dear Students:

I believe that it’s Alice Walker, author of The Color Purple, and activist who said “The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don’t have any.”

What is in your power to do?

We have about 6 weeks left in the semester now.  How do you define your own success this semester?

Please give that some thought and then think what you can do and what you must do to ensure the success that you want for yourself.

It’s worth not just dreaming about it:  it’s also worth it to think and plan because YOU have the power to achieve your own success.

One of the ways you can build your own success right now is to register to participate in the College’s Celebration of Student Achievement.  The deadline to register is April 8:  http://celebration.tcnj.edu/.  Do it now!

Sincerely,

BR
