Dr. Candice Feiring, Psychology professor and Senior Research Scholar, highlights how TCNJ student Elisa Liang met all of her goals at the SRCD Biennial Meeting:
“She embraced the opportunity to discuss her thesis research and future plans with Dr. Simon as well as other grad students at different stages in their development. She also was part of a lively discussion with Dr. Joe Allen at the University of Virginia, a prominent developmental-psychopathology expert, about attachment to friends and romantic partner in adolescence and associations with emerging adult health. She practiced her presentation skills, demonstrated outstanding critical thinking and connected on a personal level with faculty from other universities and their grad students. Well done Elisa!”
